Customers travelling within EU countries can Roam Like at Home from 15 June 2017. This means when you use your mobile abroad, you’ll pay domestic prices for your calls, SMS, and data.
So, regardless of where you’re travelling in the EU you won’t have to suffer the shock of a massive bill when you return home!

- All mobile operators in the UK will not be allowed to charge for international data roaming in Europe from Thursday 15 June 2017.
- Customers can take their allowance abroad, at no extra cost.
- If you exceed the monthly allowances of calls, texts, or data usage specified in your plan, you’ll be charged as you would in the UK.
- The network can still apply a safeguard (fair use) limit on “unlimited” data packages while roaming but they are obliged to inform you of this in advance, and you will be alerted when you reach this limit. Customers must spend more time in their home country than abroad over any 4-month period to fully benefit from Roam Like at Home.
